Robert Kirkman's zombies in THE WALKING DEAD

One of the biggest successes of 2010 was AMC’s zombie TV series adapting Robert Kirkman’s comic book The Walking Dead. Produced by Gale Anne Hurd and developed by Frank Darabont, the 6 episode series is tense, dramatic, emotional, scary and full of gore. Horror on television has never looked this good. The zombies are some of the best zombies ever created (effects by Gregory Nicotero) for TV, movies - anything, ever. From the opening shot of a zombie girl confronting the show’s hero, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), to the attack on the survivor camp, the zombies are gruesome, realistic and bloody. The Walking Dead is an instant classic that will be talked about for years to come.
